My New Motivation

So, I have been at this dieting thing for a few months now, only 2 pounds loss and not much commitment, even thought I want to lose weigh SO bad. Well, last night I was given some new motivation… I GOT ENGAGED!!!!

My boyfriend of 4 1/2 years asked me to marry him, YEAH!!! So, now I want to work hard on my weight so I can be thin on my wedding day, whenever that may be!! :o)

Frozen Meals

So, I have been doing Healthy Choice meals for lunch. I KNOW they are high in sodium and fresh meals are better, BUT I find I eat less when I eat a pre-portioned meals. However, these Healthy Choice meals are NOT tasty! :o) So, I am going to maybe try Lean Cuisine. I guess each week I will try a new brand until I get a low cal one that tastes good. Anyone know of any tasty, healthy, frozen meals?

I also have been drinking Diet Green Tea, Peach flavored from Nestea. It is not bad. It has a bit of a bitter after taste, but I know it is healthy. I also have been doing those Crystal Light packets you add to your bottle water. YUMMY!!!

A friend of mine sent me some aerobic workout dvd’s and some step aerobic dvd’s and I just bought a step. I am getting it worked into my schedule, but still feel “silly” flayling about! So wish me luck there.

I hope all this little tweaks help me start seeing some loss again. I have been at a standstill at 163 for about 3 weeks now and I want to start LOSING again! Wish me luck!

Flavor Packets for Water

I have a quick question. I have been drinking my 8-10 bottles of water a day, but have been getting really bored with it. So, I bought some of those Crystal Light on the go powder mixes you add to your bottled water (actually, I bought Wal-Mart brand because it said it has 0 calories compared to Crystal Light’s 5). Anyways, they say they have no calories and no sugar added.  So, my question is, are these good to use? Will I still get the added benefits of water? Water is good for weight loss, so will adding these packets still be ok?

LA Weight Loss centers??

Has anyone used this LA Weight Loss center? They just opened one down the street from my house. i checke dout the website and it seems very doable. It seems to be a spin off of Weight watchers or Jenny Craig. It says you can eat foods you buy at the grocery store and that you will get a counselor and weekly weigh in’s with them with one-on-one meetings. I am interested to get some addistional support, but wanted to know what you guys thought. have any of you joined or know anything ore about it? Thanks in advance!

Finally doing it!!!

You may or many not have known, but since I started my Buddy Slim “expedition” I have not done ANY excersize. I had cancer and my body just couldn’t take it. However, beginning Wed I started doing some at home workout dvd’s. I LOVE THEM! Sooo, hopefully this will jump start my weigh loss again!

Refreshed…

So, just wanted to let all my buddies (and anyone reading this) know that I am still here! I haven’t been using Buddyslim to the full potential for the past 2-3 weeks. Tommarow is a new day. I have not been doing bad. My weight has stayed the same for about 2 weeks, but I would like to continue losing. I need to get back on page fully! As I write this I went and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. My first one today, but it’s never too late! :o) WE have been trying to get our excersize bike for about 2 weeks now, but everytime we do, an unexpected expense comes up. We are aiming for next weeeknd now. I want it so bad as I hope it will jump start my weigh loss again! I am half tempted to drive to all the sprts stores in town and hop on the bikes and “test” them for 45 minutes! :o)

Yummy New Snack!

Ok, I just had to share… I found a yummy new snack that seems pretty healthy in the high calorie, high fat snack world! They are Pringles Select. I just bought the following YUMMY flavors and there is only 150 in 28 chips.

Cinnamon Sweet Potato- made with real sweet potatoes

Szechuan BBQ- Made with rice

Parmeasean Garlic- Made with Potato

Ahhhh, I am frustrated!!!

I didn’t do so well today. I need to get back on track and I feel SO frustrated. After not eating much yesterday ( I wasn’t feeling well), I really ate at lunch today. I estimate about 900 calories. I see a small side salad in store for me for dinner, lol… Uhhh, I just feel so frustrated. I am SO close to the 150’s I can smell it and yet I can’t seem to get back “on”. I have felt “off” since last weekend. I haven’t TOTALLY blown it, but I haven’t done well either to keep consistantly losing like I have! It’s frustrating…

Picture question, not related to dieting…

So, I am trying to get pictures in booster notes. I know about the copy and paste thing, but here is my problem…

I right click on a picture, then when I right click in the booster window it doesn’t give me an option to paste… unless I go to the top of my brower and go to edit and paste, but it pastes nothing! :o( Anyone have any ideas??

FINALLY!!!

Geeeze… finaly these blogs are getting better. I was having a hard time adjusting. Now I don’t mind it too much. I like how that put it back where you can see the first few sentences of a blog.

Has anyone else seen how you can now add specific before and after pictures to your pictures without it counting to your 5 pic count? I am excited, lol

Hope everyone is doing well. My birthday was Monday so I am struggling to get back on track. I wanted to be out of the 160’s this week, but tommarow is weigh in and I will be lucky if I am not too much over 162… So maybe next week!  Hang in there buddies! :o)
